The Roosevelt Grille
Tom Nickel already had a successful endeavor on Ketchum’s Main Street, so for his second offering to the downtown dining scene, he went back to the well and created the wonderful and always original Roosevelt Grille. Now, more than thirteen years later, with it’s enticing menu, professional staff, and comfortable vibe, this popular establishment has become an absolutely essential element of Ketchum life, appealing equally to both tourists and locals all year round. A travel journalist said it well a few years ago, “The Roosevelt is Ketchum’s classic ski-town restaurant and bar!”

Food
Whether you’re dining al fresco on the famous rooftop deck or settling into a comfy booth, you will have the very tough job of choosing from the eclectic menu that Nickel characterizes as “Creative interpretations of classic bistro fare . . . And then some!” “We’re inspired by our guests, by our staff, by our personal travel and by our colleagues from other restaurants to keep the menu fresh, varied & interesting. And increasingly, we recognize the need to offer food that is healthy, and to source it from close to home. All of our beef is grass-fed and raised hormone and antibiotic-free from a family of farms in Oregon and Idaho, and we’re working hard to serve only sustainably harvested seafood.”
Spirits
Enjoy an ice cold brew at the comfortable bar, relax with a cocktail around the cozy fireplace or select just the right bottle from the extensive and reasonably priced wine list. We offer ten well-chosen, mostly regional microbrews on tap & seventeen food-friendly wines by the glass. And this is something we hear all the time . . . “The Roosevelt is the friendliest bar in town!”
